Watbi New Ireland Papua German New Guinea stamp 1909

  

This is a handcoloured postcard of Watbi, Neu Mecklenburg (= New Ireland), Bismarck Archipel (= Archipelago), German (now: Papua) New Guinea. It shows a beautiful view of a large group of Papuas. This postcard was sent to the USA in 1909. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 10 years OLD.

And white 10 Pfennig DEUTSCH NEU-GUINEA stamp is still attached on its back. However a little, slight stain on bottom right corner it does not affect the pictures (see scan) and it is still a great collectable. This postcard should be in every Papua New Guinea collection.
