This figures range in size from the biggest being 3 inches long and 2 inches high to the smallest one measuring 1 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches high. This set comprises of the Undertakers House #1, Moores Post Office #2, Barney Flynns Cottage #3, Kates Cottage #4, Dentist House #5, Mick Murphys Bar #6, W. Ryans Hardware Store #7 and the Bally-Whim House #8. The figurines all come well packaged and protected in their ORIGINAL WADE BALLY-WHIM BOX (Box does have slight wear) which includes the foam insert. Each figure is mold marked on its base with the words "Wade Ireland" and each model bears its number in the series.
Wade made little buildings from 1984 till 1987. The Whimsey-on-Why village has a lot of pieces. They made the Irish Village, Bally-Whim from 1984 till 1987. There is only the one set with eight pieces.
Irish Wade pottery was closed in the early 90s. The Wade potteries have all been owned by Beauford PLC since 1998. And has since close their doors forever.
