Vtg C1965 Rare Belleek Bust Of Joy Clyte Wearing Pearls Special Order Perfect

  

This is a very rare Belleek parian porcelain bust of Joy (Clytie) that was made for a special order at the Belleek factory in Ireland in 1965. The lady is wearing a string of pearls.

I contacted the Belleek Company in Ireland to gather this information. From 1978 on the busts were not made with pearls due to costs. She is made of the Belleek famous pure porcelain parian with a part matte and part glossy finish. This lady is in perfect and immaculate condition.

She is 11"high and 8" wide at the shoulders.
