Irish Dresden Porcelain Bride & Groom Figurine R-478

  

This lovely pair of figurines were handcrafted in fine porcelain in the Irish Dresden/Muller-Volkstedt. Factory in Dromcollgher, County Limerick.

Stamped on the bottom: MZ Irish Dresden'The Groom' and'The Bride'. The Groom is dressed in black tuxedo with lace cuffs and ascot. The Bride is dressed in white 3 layered lace gown. She is holding a pink boquet.

The Groom is in excellent condition, but The Bride has several chips in the bottom lace of her dress. They both stand about 4 1/2 tall and would sit perfectly atop the wedding cake. The age of these figurines are anywhere from 1930's to 1950. I will list whatever damages that I see and try to add them to the photos.
