(Stereoviews, 3-D Photography, Ireland, Landscape Views, Ethnographic Views, Architectural Views, Underwood& Underwood). 1905-20, United States by Underwood & Underwood Pleasing boxed set of early 20th century stereo views, original photos mounted as issued to heavy curved cardstock backings, each captioned and most with extensive commentary on reverse. Retains original cloth faux-book carrying case. Set contains 100 different views of Ireland, 96 of which appear to be from one set, four others from a similar but different set (so while the views are all Ireland by Underwood, four have a different numbering system on them).

Most cards with title and descriptions printed on side or reverse. Assortment of ethnographic, architectural, and topographical images capturing this island country in the early 20th century. All views remain in nice clean fresh condition. The asking price reflects the condition based on our examination and 35+ years full time exposure to a broad range of antiquarian books and ephemera.

Any small flaws seen or described have been taken into account with the pricing of the lot. A reasonable price per card. 3 1/2" H x 7 1/4" W.
