Antique Midleton Urban District Cork Ireland Resolution McKinley Assassination

  

This rare piece of history is a resolution passed by the Midleton Urban District Council of Cork County on the aftermath of the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901. The document captures the sentiments of the council and their reaction to the tragic event that shocked the world. This document is a unique piece of American history, created during a time of great political change and tension in the country, just after the assassination of President McKinley. All ephemera has wear commensurate to age, including, potentially: nicks, folds, smudges, rips at edges, stains, old smells, minor rips at folds, small holes, and other imperfections.
