This was acquire with other rare fine lace examples packed away in an estate since the 1930's, previous to that the collection had been exhibited numerous times based on evidence of small penned plackets describing each piece, origin & age found pinned on the wrappings.

Commensurate to age antique approx. 200+ years old, unwashed estate condition, veil exhibits some very fine mending through showing love and conservation passed on through generation worn for marriage.
