Antique Anglo-Irish Decanter c. 1770-1800 Crystal Glass Checkerboard Pattern

  
Absolutely fantastic antique Irish crystal decanter. Hand blown and hand worked. Should be from the final third of the 18th century or so. The glass has a distinct gray color.

It's one of the most attractive decanters you're likely to see. There are a few little nibbles out of the bottom of the stopper but it's otherwise great! Fresh out of an old New England collection. The former owners were lifetime glass collectors and were quite scholarly on the subject.
